Tom Slaughter’s Attendance Poker Chip was drawn at our monthly meeting.. Since he was PRESENT, he did take home the $10.00 jackpot. His poker chip was returned to the box and $10.00 will be added to the pot for the next drawing in the amount of $10.00 REMEMBER, You must be present to win. |

In a few days I will be heading out to the Southwest Conference being held in Grand Junction, Colorado. I am so looking forward to getting away for a while and seeing the beautiful Southwest once again from a motorcycle. That having been said, it is not too soon to begin planning for your attendance of the 2011 Southwest Conference. It will be held in Prescott, AZ from June 15th to the 19th, 2011 at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center. When I get back from this year’s conference, I’ll be able to give you the specifics and registration flyer. Let’s get as many people attending this conference as possible. The ride is just a one day (10 hour) trip to/from Prescott, AZ.
Tires…Take a quick look at your motorcycle tires. In the last week I have seen or spoke with about 10 people who had too little pressure in their tires. It’s too easy to lose control or a tire over something so easily preventable. Be safe and take a quick check your pressure or tread –they may be a little low.
In September we will be accepting nominations for chapter officers... everything from President to our Board of Directors. Please make arrangements to either attend the meeting or notify someone on the board of your wish to run for office. This is your opportunity to be a part of the direction this chapter will be heading during the next two years. Being a chapter officer is vital and very rewarding. It gives a different perspective of what this great organization is all about.
