(A Little Ride Continued)

We checked in and about an hour later we all were ready to have our evening meal at the local steakhouse. Not too long after eating we were back in our rooms making ready for a good night’s sleep with thoughts on having a great final day of riding and touring through Yellowstone.

The group elected to have a breakfast here in West Yellowstone before hitting the road. We had a great morning meal at the Timberline Café.

Back on the road, we re-entered Yellowstone National Park at the West Entry Gateway. We traversed about 15 miles of highway we rode the day before and came upon an intersection turning left. We were informed at the main gate entrance that we would be traveling on about 12 miles of road that was basic gravel but wetted down. While we were in the park we did see a variety of scenic beauty.

While in the Yellowstone Park we visited the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Inspiration Point and water fall. The wildlife was also in abundance, as many Elk roamed freely in the fields as did a lonely Buffalo and a Mother Grizzly Bear with her two cubs. All this was seen as you rode along the highway. Some photos were taken and along this two lane road many carloads of tourists would actually park in the highway causing long lines of stacked up vehicles without thought for other poor drivers sitting on two wheels and an engine that only gets hotter.

Even with burns to my thighs I find forgiveness for these tourists, it is not every day you get to immerse yourself in Mother Natures Beauty.
